Terms of service

Effective date: November 5, 2026. These Terms govern use of hiveandpines.com and purchases from Hive & Pines LLC, doing business as Hive & Pines (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms and the policies disclosed with your order.

Using our store

You must have legal capacity to enter a purchase contract or act with appropriate authorization. Youth products may be purchased by adults; they do not make the site a service directed to children. Provide accurate order information and use the store lawfully. Do not interfere with its security, misuse another person’s information, or submit material you have no right to use.

Products, orders, and payment

Product details, available variants, stock status, and material purchase conditions are described before checkout. Photography and screens can affect color appearance; that does not excuse a materially inaccurate description. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and disclosed charges are presented before payment.

An automated confirmation acknowledges receipt of an order. If we discover an inventory or material pricing error before acceptance or fulfillment, we will contact you to agree on a correction or cancel and refund the affected amount. We will not increase a charge without your authorization or rely on this provision to deny rights arising from an accepted order.

Payments are processed through the payment services offered at checkout. Do not submit payment details through ordinary contact messages.

Promotions

Each promotion must disclose its eligibility, duration and time zone, quantity limits, redemption requirements, and combination rules where material. Terms shown with the offer form part of your purchase. Discounts are allocated as documented in the order. We will not change an offer retroactively to remove a benefit already earned.

Shipping, cancellations, and returns

The Shipping Policy and Return/Refund Policy disclosed before your order explain fulfillment and ordinary return terms. Those policies do not limit mandatory protections concerning late shipment, non-delivery, defects, misdescription, or valid cancellation. Any material exception for a custom or final-sale item must be disclosed before purchase.

Custom artwork and brand rights

Custom projects require a written quote and artwork approval. You must have the rights or permission needed for artwork you provide. You authorize us to use approved artwork only as needed to fulfill the project and related agreed services. Any use of your name, logo, or finished project in our marketing requires the permission agreed for that project. We may decline infringing, unlawful, or otherwise unacceptable artwork.

Our content and third-party services

Our original site content, branding, designs, and photographs are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party names and marks remain their owners’ property; no broader affiliation is represented beyond an expressly authorized relationship. Personal browsing does not grant commercial reproduction rights. Linked third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Privacy, service availability, and legal rights

Our Privacy Policy describes data practices. We use reasonable care in operating the store but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Any disclaimer or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, disclaims a warranty we expressly make, or waives nonwaivable consumer rights.

Governing law and disputes

Utah law governs to the extent permitted, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections under other applicable law. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class proceedings, or prevent use of a government complaint process or an available small-claims court. Any dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction; this clause does not impose an unlawful exclusive forum.

Changes

We may update these Terms prospectively, with the updated effective date shown here. The terms disclosed when you ordered continue to govern that order except as you agree or the law requires. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
